pro2match processes personal data according to the principels set out in the General EU Data Protection Regulation. The data registered about you in order to process your resume etc., when applying for a position, is handled according to the safety principles in the regulation.

1. What types of data will be collected? And for what purpose?
A) In order to present a selection of qualified candidates for the hiring company/our client, pro2match has to get your resume and collect standard data about you for client purposes. Most importantly, we do not process any data unless you have given us permission to do so and by sharing the information yourself.
The type of data we collect is your:
Resume, current job title, work experience, education, graduation year, name, birthday, address, e-mail, phone number, sex and a photo.
Your registered data is handled by our coworkers according to the data regulation policy.

B) We kindly ask you not to share sensitive personal data about yourself such as your: Personal identification number, religion, sexual orientation, health, political ideology, union membership, race, ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs or health.

2. When is data processing allowed?
Data processing is allowed when pro2match has asked for your consent, and you have made a clear action agreeing to this, for example by signing a consent form or selecting a yes on a website consent. Your personal data will not be passed to the hiring company without explicit consent.

3. Does pro2match transfer personal data to external partners?
A) Your personal data will be given to the hiring company/our client having the vacancy you applied for.

B) pro2match use third party business suppliers, named data processors, who carry around personal data. The data processor will in certain cases collect your data according to the service they provide for us e.g. collecting data registered from a job ad. The data processor is only allowed to carry out processes stated in pro2match's/the Controllers instruction´s and the data processor agreement.

4. For how long can data be kept?
We ask for your consent to keep hold of your data for two years. After two years you will receive an e-mail asking for your consent to keep hold of your data for two more years. If the answer is no we delete your data as soon as possible.

5. What are my data subjects rights in regards to EU law when personal data is collected?
According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have 8 data subject rights:

  • The right to know whether the data is being processed and the right to access it
  • The right to have inaccurate data rectified or completed if incomplete
  • The right to erasure or ”to be forgotten” and delete publicly available data
  • The right to restriction of processing if to protect your privacy
  • The right to be informed, who are the recipients and who get to see the data
  • The right to data portability that is to obtain and reuse the personal information shared
  • The data subject’s right to object and stop data being used for direct marketing.
  • The data subject´s right not not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, or effecting the subject legally or significantly

After 30 days if you are unhappy about the process you can voice your complaint to The Danish Data Protection Agency named Datatilsynet at datatilsynet.dk
